kilroyI find the Rock Band forums to be ever amusing.
"Where are the bands everyone has heard of?"
(looks at tracks in game by the Rolling Stones, the Who, Aerosmith, the Beastie Boys, Nirvana)
"Why isn't there any new stuff?"
(30 Seconds to Mars, the Sounds, Fall Out Boy)
"Why isn't there any metal?"
(Iron Maiden, Metallica, Black Sabbath)
Someone in one of their posts put it well-- every complaint about the song selection really comes down to "Why isn't Band I Like in there yet?" The complainers just like to broaden it by saying Harmonix is biased against their genres and tastes. :P
Patience, people. They're consistently uploading 3 a week, and they've been very good about putting in a spread of different stuff. There are holes because there are a finite number of songs in the mix. In time, a lot of the holes will get filled.
I mean, seriously. If they keep up the rate of new content release, which they have every appearance of doing, there will be 250 songs available by the end of the year. The mind boggles.
