(editor's note: for those who don't know, Tin Man is a SciFi original miniseries where they re-imagined the Wizard of Oz in a vaguely science-fictiony way)
I don't normally comment about things I watch anymore, but this one made me want to stab myself in the face. I just got to the end last night and the world was saved by--you guessed it--the power of love.
ARGH. At least two of the actors did fine, workmanlike jobs with essentially unplayable scripts-- and at least two more fell face first doing easy roles. The scenery effects guys did a fantastic job, but the camera and character effects guys kept screwing it up. And the writing... was terrible, both in idea and execution.
Maybe it really frustrates me because I can see the nuggets of potential there-- but this was bad. Not NormalView bad, but disappointing bad. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
