kilroyAt 4:00 AM last Thursday, I woke up with sharp pain in my left side. I drove myself to the emergency room and they told me I had a kidney stone.
In the past few days, it was supposed to pass normally. It hasn't. The urologist at the hospital couldn't fit me in until Thursday morning, but they only gave me enough drugs to get through today-- which means I have good odds of Incredible Pain heading my way in the near future.
I've given up on NaNo, as I've lost too many days. I'm only just barely keeping up with work-- I missed Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday last week, and I'm going home early today. I canceled my game tonight. Also, boy am I depressed.
