Quick Note 9-1-03

kilroyIt has been bugging me that this place is empty, and sooner or later I'm going to fill it again. For the moment, however, I just wanted to post a quick note of concern to the approximately three people who pay attention here.
This was the worst weekend I have had in recent memory. It was a comedy of errors from start to finish; an unceasing parade of banality in a context that only made things worse. I got to sit through what may be best described as a satire of a wedding; I managed to accidentally betray a close friend; and I didn't manage to have any alone time with the several parties who I needed to talk to. Best of all: not a single thing was resolved! Not one! So not only was the weekend shitty as all get out, I get to keep worrying about it!
God it was awful. It's still awful. But at least it's nominally over with and I can get on with the process of forgetting about most of it.
