I can help! One of the things that made me sad was I won't have a daughter in scouts. I've been a leader and I'm lifetime scout, just not active rigth now. I'll probably volunteer with the boy scouts when he gets old enough...but I just...am not as thrilled by the idea.
Because anyone who isn't promoting Boy Scout* standards of homophobia isn't trying hard enough? What a blithering idiot that rep is. If he wants to discourage the sexualization of little girls, he should be boycotting the latest fashion trends that want to dress them up as miniature prostitutes.
(*To be fair, the Emperor is a Cub Scout, because he really wanted to be.)
And, honestly, anyone who thinks the Girl Scouts are turning girls into lesbians has never eavesdropped on a junior high camping trip! Other girls are NOT the topic of conversation.
