Unimportant update 12-22-04

kilroyHome again. No real problems so far, thank goodness. Time to spend what little free time I have (Teacher week at my school starts on the fourth of January-- Rah). The inevitable holiday think-fest will work its way here eventually, I'm confident.
Looks like a blizzard soon, and I couldn't be happier.
Hmmmm, what else. I still owe C a Christmas present that I promised her a few weeks back; but it's something I couldn't construct without some moments of stillness, which have been in short supply of late. Need to get in contact with L to see if I can see her anytime during the hectic holiday rush, or if I'm delivering her Christmas present late this year (you know where to find me). Just remembered the possibility of getting something that I really, really wanted for Christmas, and am now wondering whether I'll get it. Writing sentences with implied subjects.
My New Years vow starts soon. That's going to be the second one I've ever kept, I think; and the second I've made, for that matter. The New Years party this year is going to be awkward and un-fun, and is going to be the last of this type if I have anything to say about it. I need to work on redesigning my classes, writing up the proposal for my next mammoth project, and try not to worry too much about whether or not my classes are going to make this semester.
Farscape: lots to talk about here, but I won't waste your time. If you want to know, ask. Lemony Snicket: excellent and highly recommended. Sheri Tepper: lost and found again.
I think that's all the random blithering I need to do for the moment. More later possibly with a point.
