Ebertfest is this week, and I have a full festival pass. I'll probably be hitting six films this year, which is about three more than I've ever hit ever (and about the limits of my current endurance). That works out to something like $20 a movie, but not having to worry about tickets is worth so much more than that to me.
I'm pumped. I love this festival dearly and the community is frankly amazing. Even on the rare occasions that I go to a movie and end up not liking it, it's still worth the trip just to hang out with a bunch of friendly, talkative people who love cinema.
I am, however, deeply amused by the fact that I'm bracketing this festival with seeing Kick-Ass yesterday and probably the Losers next week. Film lover I am; film snob I'm not. :-)
