Well I will tell you. Apparently for a while now NASA has been making movie-style posters for every shuttle mission featuring the real astronauts in action poses. The ones on that page include Indiana Jones, Matrix, Star Trek, and Armageddon references, among other things. And a cartoon of a space shuttle taking off making a "VROOM!" noise.
These are our people. Our geeky, geeky people. :-)
