Putting out the request

So, my geeky father has just discovered podcasts. I was thinking about getting him a recommended listening list for Christmas (among other things), but I know no podcasts.

I know at least two of you do. Help? :)

Anything that features obscure knowledge would be a hit; my dad read Cryptonomicon and loved it for the historical asides. He's not into current fandoms at all but he's insatiably curious and a huge, huge geek.
