So, since I ran aground with my doctors again last time, I've been going back to an earlier suggestion about doing a little exercise at a time and ramping it up. The fact that I'm temporarily out of options has helped me be a lot more consistent about it this time, and I'm maybe two weeks into the program.

And I'm beginning to realize, with some annoyance, that the doctors were not incorrect when they said what it wasn't. It's not cardiovascular and it's not muscular in the traditional sense; it's more like the tissues underneath the muscles that complain, the connectors rather than the muscles themselves. And if that's the case, then I really do need to see a rheumatologist.

Granted that still leaves the fatigue, the blackouts, and the general malaise to deal with; but frankly the fact that I woke up this morning unable to pull on my shoes without sitting down or remove my shirt with one try is what's concerning me most.
