Star thoughts and closure 11-20-02

So I went out to see the Leonids at 4 in the morning last night, and I've been running without sleep all day-- but it was so worth it. Unlike most of my past meteor shower experiences, I actually managed to catch a few dozen really good ones. It made me exceptionally happy to be out, under the stars, in my cloak, looking up for no reason other than to look up.

In other news, I'm close to declaring the Month of Bad over. I've regained my equilibrium, worked out several of the major problems I've been having, and discovered a few items of positive interest. I figure I'll give it a few more days' observation to make sure this isn't just a fluke calm-spot, but things are looking cautiously optimistic.
