Update on Cyborg Sleep
Jul. 12th, 2009 07:53 amSo I'm used to the machine now, more or less. Breathing-wise I don't even notice it after about two minutes. I've actually found myself waking up and going "Crap, is the machine still on? Oh. Yes, I guess it is." I still get some irritation on my face from HEY STRANGE RUBBER THING PRESSED ON ME ALL NIGHT, but that problem is also fading. I'm slowly learning the humidity settings dance.
On the other hand, I'm still waking up feeling like crap every single day. My mind is arguably clearer and I've been somewhat less slow at times of the day where I normally would be a potato, but it's still kind of soul-crushing in the mornings.
Nothing to do but wait, now. That seems to be the motto for my entire year.
Boy is that depressing.
