Nothing special 6-26-04

kilroyJust spent a productive hour excavating a corner of room. God I have too much stuff. Soon, however, I will be eliminating some of this-- or at least moving it out of the line of fire into the attic or basement.
This is the first place I've lived in for two years for a while; it's the only place outside the house where I grew up where I got to do the iterative-rearranging thing. By the time I leave this house, it'll be much better arranged than it was when I got here. I can only imagine how many years it would take for me to get comfortable in a space-- if I could ever actually get it exactly the way I wanted. As it is, I'm finding posters I wish I would have put up months ago, and trash I should have thrown out probably before my last move.
Still need to do a lot of stuff this weekend. Let's see: work further on the learning journal, figure out both what I can write down for it and what I need to; mail Jim more astro stuff (today); continue working up the Biggest Fight Ever for Saga, and then actually plan what comes after; bug Jim about chapter 12; go over Vygotsky readings and start to get ahead again; download Squeak and take a look at it; see Fahrenheit 9/11.
Should also do list: fix resume; start looking for future employment; fix bike; finish clearing room; vacuum room; clean under bed; go to McKinley about back & breathing; call sister.
