Decision time
May. 5th, 2009 11:48 amI realized the other day that I post when I'm really depressed, but not when I get better.
I did. The love helped a lot, guys-- as did getting about 20 hours of sleep in two days. I was more or less myself Sunday and yesterday, and I'm still all right today. Adventures in normality continue.
But, that's not what I originally came here to post about. I've come to my final decision regarding my summer gaming. I need to be putting together my Nobilis resources and working on Amber rules (hopefully the last year that will require this much effort). So, I'm not running a story-intensive game this summer.
I do, however, really want to playtest Spirit of the Century for myself. It's pulp adventuring at its finest-- the guys who wrote Adventure! said it's a better pulp game than theirs. And I just can't seem to go more than a few years without a few zeppelins in my life.
So, I'll be running a playtest series starting in... probably June. Number of sessions and dates we're meeting to be determined, guest players who only want to show up for a week or two welcome. My guess is that it'll run in roughly two-session stories, and people are welcome to change characters or drop in and out between stories as appropriate.
So let me know if you're in or near town and interested in playing. If you're not going to be in town (or not interested in playing), start thinking about random pulpy plot elements-- I may be raiding your brains shortly. :-)
