Also, Ebertfest

A friend and co-worker of mine lent me her all-shows-pass for the Ebert Film Festival this weekend, and I got to go see some movies. The movies were great. Seeing Roger using a vocalizer with a british accent was great. Seeing someone ask Matt Dillon which hotel he was in was great ("I'm sure a lot of women in the audience are wondering this...").
But the thing that really gets me about the festival-- and has gotten me every time I've gone-- is how nice everyone is. You can start a conversation with anyone in the theater, and they'll frequently start one with you. There's an excitement and fellowship to the event, coupled with a generosity of spirit that always floors me.
It's fantastic to see so many people so engaged together.
