kilroySo, I made a joke about three weeks ago that we should see if we have money in our budget to hire a gypsy (Romany?) violinist to play sad music around the office for people who need ironic accompaniment. And it stuck, in that way that jokes sometimes do. (You were about victim #37, Lucy.)
So, I just turned in the thing that's been giving me ulcers for two weeks to the lady down the hall. It's not totally done, but it's as done as it could get today. I feel like I've just run a marathon.
She got back to me in under ten minutes saying she'll look at it after spring break.
I need that violinist.
