kilroySo, I've almost been stressing about the whole Guitar Hero World Tour versus Rock Band 2 thing. Are we missing the boat by sticking with one? What if there's really neat stuff on the other? RB2 isn't innovating much, just refining, but GH keeps doing weird and interesting stuff... but if I buy GHWT and it's as bad as Guitar Hero 3, then it's a waste of money. And there's all the songs that are repeated from one to the other...
And then I realized.
I have money. I have friends to play it with. Instrument compatibility is supposed to actually happen this time around. And you can, you know, RENT video games.
There's no reason on God's Green Earth that I can't try GHWT. And then if it's any good, there's also no reason why I can't buy the pieces of it I want to play regularly. This is not a situation where I am forced into a decision. The only real problem would be potentially putting more junk in Kathi's basement. :P
So-- brain, stop worrying about it! You can have peanut butter and jelly! It's okay!
