Thanksgiving notes
Nov. 22nd, 2007 08:08 pmFor all the problems that my family and I occasionally have, I love them dearly, and this is the holiday where this is most clear to me.
My mother drove across the state to get me without complaining, and we talked in the car until I fell asleep on the way home.
My sister and I always lose contact with each other, every year, and then we pick up again like nothing had happened. The connection is always there.
I brought home my PS3 and my copy of Guitar Hero III mostly for my own amusement, but my sister, my dad, and I spent all afternoon playing it. Geeks are the best. :)
And sitting at the table, eating Thanksgiving dinner, I was home.
Thanks to my family, with whom I will always spend Thanksgiving. I love you all.
p.s. I love Amy Adams so much. My family went to go see Enchanted today and I think I was the one who liked it most. I believe the term may very well be "squee." :)
