Rejected: My Name is Legion by Roger Zelazny

Rationale: It's a spy novel with a scifi twist-- which means it's going to have minimal characterization and more cliches than you could fit in a medium-sized dump-truck. I'm pretty sure it has the evolution-of-the-world's-first-machine-sentience subplot as well, which is obviously not going to get the space it deserves in a spy novel. I'd rather go watch Moonraker again, thank you.
