Finally

Filled out the Yuletide forms. I remembered my sixth fandom. :-)

Pleased to note that 5/6 fandoms had at least all the characters I needed and a few besides. The last had some gaping holes, but it's also a very, very long series. I filled in a few additions to that one, but tried to keep it to a minimum of characters that I consider "essential."

Now the waiting begins. Shortly after, the panic.

Sometimes, game is good

It's always nice when you throw a real curve ball at the players and they just rise to the challenge and knock it out of the park.

When I walked in the door to my house I was thinking, "Nights like this remind me that it's not just chance, that I am in fact a good GM." And it's true, but the reason that it works more often than not is because I've gotten very good at picking the right players and just getting the hell out of the way.

This hobby is amazing sometimes.
