So, I realized this morning that it has been a very unusual summer for me in terms of movies. Mostly this is due to lack of energy in general, but I ended up skipping Terminator, Transformers, G.I. Joe, and pretty much every blockbuster but Star Trek and Harry Potter. I just looked at the reviews, asked myself if I truly cared, and said "no."

I really think I need to round this out by making sure I go see The Hurt Locker this weekend.

I'm admittedly biased as an old and entrenched fan of DC comics, but I have to say-- Matt Wagner's Madame Xanadu? Good, good stuff.
