So, tried to exercise for the first time in a few months on Saturday, and it had the same result as the last few times I tried it-- 25 minutes of work resulted in two hours of sleep immediately afterwards, followed by generally being a wreck for about 36 hours.

This is not acceptable.

ETA: Just to be clear, when I normally exercise, I'm tired afterwards-- the kind of tired where I want to sit down and sip a drink for a while. The kind of tired I'm talking about above is the kind where I want to pass out. To use a metaphor, it is like someone pulls a plug somewhere and I just drain out of myself. For the next day or two everything is murkier; I can't concentrate as well, moving with any kind of balance and grace becomes more difficult, and I'm also 30% more exhausted than normal even after I sleep. Unless I drastically misunderstand human biology, these are not normally symptoms of just pushing myself too hard.
