Dogville 5-8-04

I'm stunned. Walking out of the theater, my mouth was on the floor. It still is.

At the end of the movie, I had an upswelling of rage that I don't want to forget. I wanted the gangsters to kill them all. Not because it would be poetic justice, and not because I just wanted the movie to be over. I wanted them to die.

I'll be thinking about this one for a long time.
