Darker Than You Think by Jack Williamson: A werewolf story in the vein of the MST3K story "Werewolf." No thank you.
The Nets of Space by Emil Petaja: The basic plot of the book is that giant telepathic space crabs are pulling astronauts out of space and time so that they can eat them. I really think that pretty much says it all.
The Green Rain by Paul Tabori: This book reminds me of "When Worlds Collide" and not in a good way-- it's a series of interlaced, factually told narratives wih no compelling plot or characters. Boring.
Softly Walks the Beast by Thomas O'D.Hunter: Postapocalyptic story told be someone who wants to be Stephen King and just isn't. Pass.
The Microcolony by Gordon Williams: First chapter had two miniaturized slaves having sex in a drainpipe. It's like "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" but without the charm.
Page count: 100 (12497 total)
Completed: 36 (18 female authors, 18 male authors)
Rejected: 32 (20 male authors, 12 female authors)
Next book due: Fri. 12/10
