Up the Line by Robert Silverberg: That Silverberg, he's one hoopy frood who really knows where his towel is! No thank you.
Babel-17 by Samuel Delany: I actually suspect I would like the plot of this book in another form, but I don't know if I could actually get through reading it just for the plot. The style is... oddly blunt.
Project Pendulum by Robert Silverberg: The draw for this book is basically "Look, the past and future! Aren't they neat!" Yeah, I've seen that.
