Crisp autumn night spent kicking dead leaves
I came home from a long walk and a think tonight with the following summary of my goals for the next few years or so:
1) Move to Oregon. This includes getting enough money, finding a real job there before I move, and heading up there at least a few more times before the event.
2) Continue pursuing my bizarre storytelling projects; see if there's any money to be had for what I'm doing, but keep doing it regardless.
My job was not on this list, nor are any of my friends. These are my selfish goals.
As such, they're the ones I'm willing to make sacrifices to chase. And if I don't start taking little steps to achieve them, I'm never going to get there. With one step a day I may still not have gotten there in two years... but I'm sure as hell going to try.
